River Vista is a residents' self managed Home Owner association . 5 members sit on The Board of Directors, each serving a 2 year term. Election for the board is held annually during the annual meeting in February of each year. We encourage each owners to attend and participate at the monthly meeting when business is conducted. A few committees assist the board in the following areas:

Kim Herring
President
Born in Baltimore, Maryland Kim met and married Tim in 1989, They had their first son in 1991 and moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1993. Their second son was born in 2000. They resided in Coconut Creek until 2019 when they moved to River Vista. Kim worked for Office Depot's Corporate offices in Boca Raton for 9 years in the accounts payable department negotiating with fortune 500 companies. She love living in River Vista. The beautiful community, wonderful neighbors , the wildlife and waterways are a constant source of joy.
John Hagaman
Vice President
ohn Hagaman is married with 3 sons. He has worked as a car dealer, Vice President of Operations for a large Auto Group, retail and residential land developer, Home Builder, Trim Carpenter, Furniture store owner for 20 years and was an Auction Vice President of disposal at FDIC/ Rtc.
John enjoys old cars, boats and cruising to the Bahamas.
Michelle Matthews

Michelle brings more than 20 years of experience in customer service, office administration, real estate, and property-related services. Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for being organized, dependable, and committed to helping others.
She is passionate about the River Vista community and is dedicated to helping maintain it as a safe, attractive, and welcoming place to live.
Known for her positive attitude and collaborative approach, she enjoys working with others, listening to different perspectives, and finding practical solutions.
Al Brockett
Member at large
Al Brockett retired in 2013 after a 36 year engineering career at Pratt and Whitney. Kathy and Al purchased their River Vista home in 2014, attracted by the broad waterfront views, access to blue water, nearby golfing, and convenient access to shopping. River Vista is a beautiful community, and by participating on the board, Al hopes to give back to the community.
Dick Parrish
Treasurer
A Florida native, Dick was a car dealer in Jacksonville for 25 years, selling his dealership in 1997. Since ‘99 he’s worked with the National Automobile Dealers Association, living first in Washington, DC, and later Atlanta, where he and his wife Pam met. In 2018 Pam and Dick moved to River Vista. “We love the beautiful community, it’s great location, and the wonderful people we’ve gotten to know!”
